Blessing Day

My sweet baby girl was blessed (christened) on Saturday. Usually it is done on Sundays, but for various reasons we did it on our own with a few family and friends. It is kind of nice to have it be such a simple, private affair. She was a little fussy but Kenyon was able to get her to settle down and proceed. It was a beautiful blessing that Kenyon gave. It is definitely a blessing in our lives to have her in the family.

And really - do you love the leggings and gold ballet shoes? They were killing me. Her feet are so dang skinny that they look kind of silly on her but oh well. And that dress. I fell in love with it. It is super soft and cute.

Those gold shoes are the first thing I noticed--so adorable! She WAS the star of the day, so I think it's more than fitting that she got to wear those. You guys look great, too, by the way. Happy belated baby blessing!

The shoes are adorable, but I just love love the dress. It is totally something I would choose if I were to have a girl. Simple, soft; it's the accessory to your gorgeous baby.

oh my gosh Annie I am dying!!!! dying over how freakin' cute Quinn is!!!! Her face is adorable, everything about her in that picture-- I love the dress, the leggings, and the cute gold flats. PS. You look amazing! Ok but seriously she is the cutest little girl.

Thanks so much for your comments. We are so excited. I'm happy our babies will be close in age- we will have to make them quick playmates.

Kenyon looks great in that photo. We so wish we could have been there for the blessing (we got into the airport about the same time as the blessing). I'm glad it went so well and I'm sure it was nice to have it more intimate.

I hope I can see you soon! I feel like its been a really long time. Miss you!
