Holiday Confusion

No offense to the amazing host of our Thanksgiving dinner - who likes the tradition of dressing the part for the holiday. And no offense to the amazing seamstress - my mother-in-law - who most of have sewed for hours to make these elaborate costumes.

But honestly - I hate dressing up. Really I do. I know that makes me a party pooper. Sorry. I wasn't too thrilled (understatement) to wear pilgrim clothes to my favorite meal of the year.

The costumes were great, though. And it makes for some fun pictures.

I just know that many of you are thankful that you weren't me this year. :) Good thing is that I don't need to worry about Halloween costumes for next year.

So cute! I told my inlaws about the dressing up. Josh's dad thought that it was a wonderful idea.

Annie, that is one of the funniest things I have ever seen.

What does your December look like? I know it's an awful month to try and get together, but we are pretty open.

Way cute costumes. You win the blogosphere award. But, I'm with you. G'head and pack those baby's up, settle in with your jammies on and dig in to some well deserved leftovers.

Benson hates dressing up to. Which makes Halloween a downer, because I looooove Halloween and the costumes. I don't think I would be a fan of dressing the part for Thanksgiving though! Those costumes are pretty amazing though.

Blessings on LaDawn. What a good sport! And the photo represents your year---so much for which to give thanks! It is a great photo. Now I am thinking of that tradition. There is something cool about it.
