Maybe Not So Remarkable

I really don't know what to say anymore. Kenyon is not feeling all that "remarkably well". In fact, he says he is feeling exactly the same - which isn't good. He has some other docs reviewing xrays but they are taking their own sweet time. It feels like we are just wasting time trying different things and nothing is really working. Dang it. What he really wants is to stop taking all the antibiotics and steroids but that has some pretty serious risks as well. Who knows. I wish I had a degree in medicine so that I could understand all this a little better.

That stinks. Waiting is the worst. Especially when you're just trying things to see if they work. It's frustrating to not know what is going on to be able to fix it. AHH.

You are so PATIENT!! I can't imagine the frustration that you are both experiencing. Hang in there. We are all praying for you!

Have you ever watched House? I dont' know where I've been but I just discovered it and (not to make light of your situation) that reminds me of it. Nate says that medicine is a guessing game, sorry I know that doesn't help.

You're thinking of the fecal transplant episode. Not sure I'm ready for that but it might be the fix.

Hi Annie - My name is Stephen, and Kenyon was my trainer down in the good ol BA West mish. I reconnected with Kenyon a few months back via Facebook, and wanted to tell you how much I appreciate the efforts you make on this blog - even though I usually surf it anonymously...lol. Please know that we are still thinking of and praying for him and your beautiful family. Hang in there.

I was wondering how he felt even though the docs said he was doing well. So sad to hear nothing's working yet.

I just rediscovered your blog! I do have a medical degree...if you ever have ANY questions I would be happy to answer (or find the answer) for them. Hope you are doing well.

(And I mean it. Ryan and I would be thrilled if there was anything we could do. Babysit. Food. Translate medical speak. Anything.)
