Healthy Snacks

My sisters have the cutest blogs. Kristine just shared her favorite healthy snacks. Good question. I am not good at healthy snacking. I will take chocolate covered cinnamon bears or a handful of chocolate chips with pretzels or cookie dough ANY DAY! But, healthy? I need to work on that. I'll let you know if I can change my ways. Do you have favorite healthy snacks?

100 calorie Pop Secret Kettle Corn. They come in mini pop corn bags you put in the microwave. It makes way more than you think 100 calories of popcorn would ever be, and if you like kettle corn then you would love it! So yummy, and filling.

Hi Annie! One of my kids had half a jam sandwich for breakfast, the other had nothing. This was followed by a healthy snack of mint chocolate sandwiches- the bad part about this is that I have no idea when we got them (probably one of the last few Christmases?). I just wrestled a huge bag of movie popcorn from Samuel. I have had nothing yet because I am to busy being amazed by this whole blog world. You are amazing... and always have been.

I love chocolate cheesecake - oh wait you said healthy - in that case - Nope! I love treats. I really should be better. In fact there was a special 5 year old put on this planet just for me (because I don't have a treat conscience). He always says, "Mom is that on the food pyramid. And I am not talking 'your' food pyramid--I am talking the real food pyramid!"

I've recently been buying packs of strawberries, raspberries, blueberries... etc. And every time I'm tempted to go for the chocolate & easter candy in our jar, I go to the fridge and grab a handful of berries instead. It's still something sweet to snack on, but unlike chocolate, berries are low fat. Plus they're full of antioxidants and vitamins! Woo!

I am so into the Quaker Quakes Rice Snacks in the Caramel Corn flavor. They are so good and have 0 fat and only 60 Calories for 13 of them. Also, I love the frozen Healthy Choice Choc.Bars. I can justify anything if it has a little fiber.
