A little blast from the past

Don't laugh.
Ok. Go ahead.
It is pretty dang funny. These are some of the best friends, roommates, moms, women that I know. This picture was taken back in 1993 (?) when we were living in the Raintree Apts in Provo. We were all students at BYU and they were all brainiacs. Seriously. They are really smart ladies. It was a lot of pressure. They studied like crazy. It really kept me motivated and challenged. But we also had a LOT of fun.

I know you are wondering - why did you get a posed photo taken? We don't know. We don't know who bought the Olin Mills package from the salesman. We don't know how we found the time to go all together in matching clothes. Go figure. It is pretty hilarious. And don't you love my hand down there. Random pose. Yikes.

Four of us are still in Utah (none of us were from Utah) but for some reason we haven't gotten together. Until Leah came to town. Bless her. She made it happen. And it was so great.

It was a happy night for me to be with these friends (Candice and Wendy - we missed you). I loved every minute of it. It was so good for me to just sit around and visit and remember those good old days.

Let's do it again soon! (I propose we all go to Israel to visit Julianne and family).

And the big boy-friend size flannel shirts are back. Maybe we should think about that before we leap. Anyway, cool pics.

AH hahahahahahahahahaha!!!! This is so great. 1993. Man, this stuff is good. I'm so glad you posted this picture. You, Jen, and your friends are the reason I was eager to go to a church school. I wanted your college life.

Aww, that's the cute little Annie that I met! And you haven't even aged. Cute fun. Don't you just love our sense of style back then? Getting dressed up in college was the tshirt under the flannel with only one hole in the jeans.

Who's the chick under the eyebrows? Oh, that's me! How embarrassing. Let's say we won the Olan Mills sitting from one of those ward service auction. . . that makes it a little more reasonable.

It was so fun to get together. Hard to believe so much time has gone by. It just feels like a few years . . .

Ok, this is weird. When I saw the fabulous 90's picture, I thought, "That looks like Candice." Then I read further and saw you said one of the girl's name is Candice.

Seriously? Do I know another one of your room mates? If so, I knew this girl from Chicago. Her husband was in school. His name is Ed.

It is now my life goal to meet more of your room mates in different parts of the world...

Haha! Raintree apartments? Wow! Funny! I was in Provo for a while too...I was in Liberty square! Love the pics! I did the same thing although we had all denim shirts! HILARIOUS! Thank heavens for these great friendships we have though! What cute gals!

The bangs, oh the bangs!! It was so fun to get together... I agree with Jul--except for the fact that one of us has 6 kids, it hardly seems like that much time has gone by. You all are some of the best friends a girl could have. Oh and I love the fact that in our picture most of us are wearing each other's clothes!

Oh man- that reminds me of our Raintree days. This must have been after I moved out! I didn't know Julianne Larsen was in Utah! I've lost touch with both her and Candace. So fun to get together again! Wish I could have been there to see everyone too!
