Happy?

So my sister Egan asked the family to respond to the question - List 5 things that make you happy every day. It has been fun to see the responses from my family (they are still coming in). Egan's was HILARIOUS. But I don't know if I can tell you. Kenyon said that one of the things that makes him happy is eating a bowl of ice cream while watching the Biggest Loser (that only happens once a week but apparently he looks forward to it all week).
Can you guess what makes me happy? Breakfast. It is my favorite meal of the day. Thanks to my super cute and talented niece-in-law for letting me steal this picture from her blog and her recipes!

So what 5 things make you happy every day?

I know this is going to sound incredibly selfish but it makes me happy when Josh goes down for a nap and I have a few hours in the day to get things done. But, it also makes me happy when those hours are over and all of the rugrats start coming thru my door!

oh and i absolutely love breakfast too. definitely my favorite meal by far. its so nice to get a good meal after a long night of no food. yum! i also love hot baths, playing/kissing/snuggling/munching on jayne, watching movies with steve, and laughing really hard at something funny. thats what came at the top of my head as my favorite things anyway. I'm sure there are more... thats fun to think about!

So one of my favorite things is watching little kids do the "happy dance"...let me explain. In our old house, I was the "popsicle" mom. Always had them. So when kids would come up and I would be getting them a popsicle, it's like they were too excited to sit still. They sit and dance around anticipating that popsicle. I LOVE IT! I know that may sound crazy! Watch your kids though, I am sure they do it too! ...and I love the quiet house after the kids have gone to bed! ...Although, I do love the sound of voices and feet scampering around the house too! :)

I am happy when I am making stuff. Dinner (if it is yummy), crafts, clothes, whatever...
I am also happy when I am talking with friends. Real stuff. Not just small talk.

Thanks for the shout out! :) The things that make me happy are baking yummy treats, hanging out with Klane, getting in bed under my down comforter, and getting nice emails and blog comments from friends and family.
